Amazon FBA Fees Explained: The Complete UK Seller Guide

Amazon FBA fees can be confusing. Here is a clear breakdown of every fee you will pay.

Amazon FBA fees eat into your margins. Understanding exactly what you pay and why helps you make better pricing and logistics decisions.

Referral Fee

A percentage of the selling price, typically 15 percent for most categories. This is charged on every sale regardless of fulfilment method.

FBA Fulfilment Fee

A per-unit fee based on the size and weight of your product. This covers picking, packing, shipping to the customer, and customer service.

Monthly Storage Fee

Charged per cubic foot of space your inventory occupies. Rates increase significantly during Q4 (October to December).

Long-Term Storage Fee

Additional fees for inventory stored over 181 days. This is designed to discourage sellers from using Amazon warehouses as long-term storage.

Other Fees

  • Removal and disposal fees
  • Returns processing fee (for some categories)
  • Unplanned service fees (for improperly prepared inventory)
