Private Label vs Wholesale: Two Amazon Business Models Compared

The two most common Amazon business models are private label (creating your own brand) and wholesale (reselling established brands). Each has distinct advantages.

Private Label

Wholesale

Pros: Existing brand demand, proven products, quicker to start, less marketing needed, lower risk per product.

Which to Choose?

Private label is better for long-term brand building and higher exit value. Wholesale is better for quicker cash flow and lower risk. Many successful sellers run both models.
